DescriptionOur client is a global distributor of wireless communications products, seeking a Director of Sales with extensive knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry. This position will be for a candidate with a demonstrated track record of success in sales, with particular emphasis in the Latin American market. This role will focus on the dynamic market for smart phone technology. The Director of Sales will develop and launch initiatives to succeed in this market.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree a must, MBA preferred
Extensive experience in vendor management,channel management and overall P&L responsibility
Must be a motivated leader who works well with large global teams
Will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques
Excellent communication skills, and proven experience developing solid relationships with C-level executives
Detailed knowledge of the telecommunications industry
Must be able to travel extensively to Latin America
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must, Portuguese a plus
